“Thank you to all of the vendors and organizations who participated this year at the Senior Fair in Salem,” said Rep. Blaine Wilhour. “This is one of our most popular events that brings many programs and resource to one location for our seniors to learn about things like health care services from hospitals, programs provided by the State of Illinois for veterans, and activities available at the Bryan-Benett Library.”
Over thirty organizations and services provided blood pressure testing, chiropractic screenings, and enrichment activities offered around Marion County and the region. This free event provided light refreshments of coffee, pastries, and fresh fruit to attendees as well as door prizes provided by the vendors.
