Career Fair at Salem Community High School Offers Many Options for Students

District Director, Lori Bear, provides information and answers questions for students who may find working for the State legislature a viable option when they graduate.

State Rep. Blaine Wilhour’s office provided information on “How to Pay for College,” internship opportunities, and career ideas and options working in the Illinois General Assembly. From research and communications positions to computer (IT) possibilities, graphics designers, photographers and videographer positions, students from Salem, Odin, Patoka, and Sandoval were able to ask questions about the many opportunities available to people who might like to work in the State Capitol someday.

Thank you to Kyla Motch for organizing this important event for our young people to explore and learn about careers and jobs they may not have known existed for them to consider!
