The City of Effingham has announced roadwork on Jefferson Avenue between First and Third Streets beginning Tuesday, September 13, 2022 and lasting several weeks until the repairs are completed. Rep. Blaine Wilhour’s district office located in this area will remain open for regular business hours. Constituents needing assistance or coming for a meeting to discuss legislative concerns or receive help with a state agency will need to enter the parking lot from the north side alley and enter the office through the normal entrance.
