Louisville, IL – State Rep. Blaine Wilhour (R-Beecher City) released the following statement on the announcement by federal prosecutors on ten (10) guilty verdicts out of 23 charges in the Michael J. Madigan bribery case:
“Mike Madigan deserved his guilty verdict. I hope they throw him in prison. He is a corrupt, self-serving politician who has done tremendous damage to our state.
Almost as bad, his hand-picked successor, despite presiding over the most corrupt General Assembly in the nation, has passed zero anti-corruption reforms. We should be asking why.”
