State Rep. Blaine Wilhour’s Senior Fair on Tuesday was a big success for reaching senior citizens with information about state programs, community resources, and services provided by the healthcare organizations and non-profits. Nearly 100 residents from around Marion County were able to almost 40 vendors and state agencies about services available to them.
“I have been approached by people for quite a while about when are you going to have your senior fair event again,” said Rep. Wilhour. “We have been constrained by the Covid-19 restrictions for way too long but as soon as we could schedule state agencies, the non-profits that offer services to seniors, and local businesses that provide products and services to the older people in my district, we set a date. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this a huge success!”
