In between the legislative session and committee meetings, I still travel between the Capitol and my district to meet with constituents and attend events. This past week included the Salem Home Show that was held for the first time since the COVID-19 restrictions shut it down. There were about 1,000 visitors who were able to learn about products and services available, and discover community/civic organizations they can volunteer for to help make the community a better place for our residents.
On Saturday, I was able to join the American Legion for breakfast in Clay City/Sailor Springs. Thank you for all that you do for our veterans and the community! Thank you to the help by the Boy Scouts also!
My hometown of St. Elmo hosted the Lions Club event. Thank you for your feedback on the issues facing our state!
