We have rescheduled this Town Hall meeting to for everyone who is concerned about the future of the Vandalia Correctional Center. The Governor and DOC director have said that there will be changes to prisoner population which will decrease the staffing levels of guards and support staff. Vandalia prison is a key component to the local economy and many families will be impacted by these kinds of changes.
The public meeting is your opportunity to learn about the more up-to-date information and to voice your opinion and concerns. Space is limited put open to the public.
