The governor announced today that the State of Illinois is extending the deadline to file state income taxes to coincide with the new federal deadline of July 15, 2020.
“I agree with this extension because you have to file a federal return first before the state return and having disjointed deadlines doesn’t make sense,” said Rep. Blaine Wilhour.
