On Wednesday, Rep. Blaine Wilhour (R-Beecher City) met with Altamont Grade School students on Monday. The two 4th Grade classes of Ms. Kacy Perry and Ms. Mildred Cowger heard from Rep. Wilhour about what he does as a state legislator and were able to ask him questions.
“I enjoy going back to where I went to school and helping to encourage young people to know about their government,” said Rep. Wilhour. “Someday these students will have an opportunity to serve on city councils, library boards, and in the General Assembly and it is important that they are informed and encouraged to be good citizens and serve when they are able.”
