Rep. Blaine Wilhour (R-Beecher City) welcomed Pastor Larry Daniel of the Ramsey Christian Church to the Illinois House of Representatives on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 to offer the opening prayer before the proceedings of the day. State Representatives are given the opportunity to invite clergy from their districts to travel to the Capitol in Springfield to provide a prayer.
“Thank you to Pastor Larry Daniel for providing the prayer and for offering the opportunity for legislators to obtain a copy of a devotional booklet as well,” said Rep. Wilhour. “Pastor Daniel is a role model for service to the community through his work both here in Illinois and around the world through mission trips.”
Pastor Larry Daniel, a graduate of Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri, began serving Ramsey Christian Church in 2017. He has also served churches in Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma and has also been on several mission trips outside the USA.
